The Sr. Specialist, Total Rewards isa subject matter expert on SHRM’s compensation and benefits programs, and is responsible for the effective application and administration of all related policies and plans. Under general guidance from the Director, Total Rewards, the Sr Specialist, supports leaders and business partners with job design, compensation administration, issue resolution, sales compensation, and benefit guidance that supports an engaging employee experience. This role also oversees our biweekly payroll process with our external providers and has a deep understanding and dominion of our HR information system. The primary responsibilities will include:

  • Design of SHRM’s sales incentive programs that effectively attract top-tier sales talent and deliver cost-effective incentives to ensure sales revenue growth goals.

  • In partnership with the Sales Success organization, develop tools and materials to administer the plans and provide clarity to sellers on how to achieve optimal compensation and sales.

  • Being knowledgeable and responsible for the compliance aspects that surround compensation and benefits and applying such knowledge in the delivery of biweekly payroll and associated reporting.

  • Maintaining employee database and knowing the ins and outs of the HRIS/Payroll tool (Dayforce) to ensure accuracy in biweekly payments, sales incentives processing, and benefits and tax reporting to authorities and benefit vendors.

  • Developing compliance reports to be used by the HR Organization and proactively monitoring benefits integrations and tax quarterly reports and payments.

  • Being the main liaison on employment and benefits audits and ensuring HR Compliance is always at its highest.

Requirements for the position include:

  • Financial background/deep understanding of business financials

  • Multiple years of experience with Compensation programs, including Sales Incentive Plans a must

  • Demonstrated experience in end-to-end payroll process

  • Demonstrated experience in EEO/AAP, FLSA, FMLA, states LOA, ERISA regulations

  • Highly skilled in Excel and data analytics

  • Vendor management

  • SHRM CP/SCP certification preferred

  • Experience with systems configuration and dashboards
