Summary
SHRM applies an audience centric model to its operations. The Growth Marketing team plays a crucial role in identifying and supporting go-to-market activities to accelerate growth across all segments.
Reporting to the Manager of Growth Marketing, this role will be responsible for executing a comprehensive paid media plan that drives member and product acquisition and enables growth across all divisions.
The candidate hired for this position will lead campaign execution, monitoring and reporting to support key business goals, revenue targets, and marketing objectives. This person will need to effectively communicate with various stakeholders to deliver successful campaigns across a network of well-established websites. As a technical and project lead, this role is responsible for aiding in decision-making regarding process improvements and training.
The ideal candidate has expertise in executing advertising on social, search, and programmatic platforms, takes a data-driven approach, and should be detail-oriented, analytical, creative, and organized.
Responsibilities:
Day-to-day execution of all paid ad campaigns from inception through completion
Serve as main point of contact for agency of record
Develop campaign strategy and road-mapping based on audience centric and business goals
Understand and communicate the details of media plans to audience stakeholders
Conduct keyword & audience research
Write and implement paid search and paid social ad copy
Extract campaign data, generate reports, interpret, and analyze results
QA campaign settings, targeting, landing pages, ads, tagging, and more
Train specialists/departments on proper tagging practices as well as how to find specific analytics data. Test and tag marketing landing pages with Google Tag Manager ID.
Manage lead generation initiatives, downloading social leads and collaborating with Membership Acquisition and Demand Generation teams.
Maintain schedules and tracking documents for all paid campaigns, in coordination with teams.
Collaborate with Editorial to place house ads and leverage editorial content in paid campaigns, test the right mix
Daily monitoring of performance dashboards to ensure campaigns run effectively, and take learnings for other channels.
Collaborate across organization to integrate messaging, learnings and upcoming initiatives across all campaigns.
Stay up-to-date with digital and social media trends and bring potential opportunities of growth to managers and directors
Participate in vetting and recommending partners and systems to enhance efficiency and performance
Assist with developing and implementing strategies and process for new advertising opportunities and new products or emerging media.
Provide insights and strategic recommendations for campaigns and marketing module enhancements, including any real-time personalization tactics, SEO keyword updates, etc.

Education & Experience Requirements
Position Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Communication's plus 5 years relevant experience (2 within advertising design and trafficking) required. If degree is in unrelated field, candidates holding certificates in Online, Graphic and or Multimedia Digital Design and Development will be considered.
Knowledge of major or in-house ad serving system a plus.
Agency and/or non-profit experience a plus.
Proven project management skills required.
Google Analytics certification required
Creative and detail-oriented
Experience project managing paid digital media campaigns.
Experience with Google Analytics and/or email reporting required.
Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Experience with project management, with an ability to multi-task and adhere to tight deadlines required.
Experience in Microsoft Office software applications—MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
Experience with operation Social Media platforms, and social content development best practices.
Experience with HTML5, Adobe platforms, Flash, video and web interfaces. CSS a plus.
Experience with trafficking system (in house or commercial)
Physical Requirements
Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily with reasonable accommodations.
Work is generally done sitting, talking, hearing, and typing. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Work environment
- Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
