Under the direction of the Director of Integrated Marketing at SHRM, the SHRM Foundation Integrated Marketing Manager tells the stories of SHRM Foundation as the leader in positive social change impacting all things work; manages SHRM Foundation’s PR and content strategy and implementation, and ensures collaboration and cohesion to the masterbrand storytelling of SHRM. This role will be the strategist for a wide variety of integrated communication campaigns. The role will change the world of work by engaging donors, influencers and audiences across global media, events and content platforms for both internal and external audiences.
The role will manage all strategic messaging throughout SHRM Foundation and lead the content creation campaigns and assets. S/he is responsible for positively impacting donor engagement and stakeholder experience by leading the delivery of consistent, transparent, and relevant campaigns. The role will measure the impact of these PR campaigns and individual pieces of content in collaboration with the fundraising and programmatic teams.
Manage cohesive brand alignment in all deliverables, with specific focus on developing and project managing organization-wide PR campaigns, content and graphics collateral for marketing and support messaging for the SHRM Foundation.
Develop PR/communications plans and execute tactics at an exemplary level across stakeholders and channels. With a focus on strategy, tactical plans, messaging and execution.
Drive communications strategies that are aligned with SHRM Foundation's business goals.
Lead development of long-range communication plans, goals, objectives and analytics of measurement for ROI output.
Work cross-function to ensure a consistency in message across all departments and projects.
Develop PR campaigns and messaging for SHRM Foundation.
Uphold the SHRM/SHRM Foundation brand with conveyance of appropriate tone, purpose, & voice.
Lead development and execution of annual campaigns and marketing collateral for specific programs created and run by the SHRM Foundation, such as Getting Talent Back to Work and Employing Abilities for All, etc.
Lead development of marketing collateral for donors.
Lead development of social media campaigns and departmental editorial calendar for the Social Media team working collaboratively with the in-house social media team.
Creative project management of programs/initiatives/campaigns.
Manage lead gen, data management and mass outreach.
Other writing assignments to support SHRM Foundation events and master brand.
Other duties as assigned.
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, English,Communications, Journalism, Marketing or a related field.
6-9 years of relevant experience, including: Managing cohesive brand alignment in all deliverables, with specific focus on developing organization-wide PR campaigns
Being proactive in pitching and engaging members of themedia
Writing, editing and content creation
Working with the mass media
Project management and organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
Expertise in PR strategy, audience insights and content marketing.
Understanding of audiences specifically donors and mass media/influencers.
Strong written and oral communication skills, including excellent writing, grammar and proofreading and editing skills.
Ability to prioritize,plan and execute responsibilities independently.
Ability to multitask and reprioritize throughout the day
Demonstrated leadership skills (inspiring, problem solving, communication across multiple organizations, executing) to champion a productive, motivating organizational culture.
Ability to manage a diverse workload in a demanding and dynamic workplace.
Proficiency in SharePoint and Instapage platforms, social media platforms, Marketo and SalesForce marketing systems
Ability to be comfortable providing clear, concise reporting to stakeholders and executive management.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with all levels of staff and members.
Collaborative and team-player skills.
Working knowledge of AP Style and journalistic principles.

PR agency experience
More than 8 years of progressively responsible professional level experience including an extensive communications and PR strategy background.
Previous work experience leading communications strategic planning and directly managing nonprofit communications within a large brand.
Agency and/or nonprofit experience.
Regularly required to sit; talk and hear, use hands to type, file, handle or feel. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms. Occasionally required to stand; walk and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Visual acuity to use a keyboard, prepare and analyze data and figures; transcribing, viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading.
Light lifting is required. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force to constantly move objects.
Work is regularly performed in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment.
This job requires occasional travel 0-10%.
