Summary
Responsible for overseeing the international education partner network to drive international product sales. Work directly with the global development and marketing teams to partner and develop enterprise accounts overseas. Engage in enterprise sales in Africa, the Americas, and Europe, including proposal writing and development, contract negotiation, and delivery coordination.
Oversee Annual Conference Delegation Program to drive international and corporate enrollment.
Responsibilities:
International Education Partners
Work with global business development, sales team, and partners to maximize partner sales and develop corporate accounts in overseas markets.
Support the development of a comprehensive global sales ecosystem, aligning our international partner strategy with SHRM’s overall business strategy to achieve growth.
Manage international education partnerships, understand each partner’s business, including markets, initiatives, challenges, and sales history.
Work across departments to implement and maintain business models and sales initiatives, identify opportunities, and improve operational efficiency.
Organize and program annual Partners’ Summit at SHRM Annual Conference & Exposition, conduct quarterly regional strategy meetings and one-on-one visits.
Review annual sales plans and targets from partners, co-develop strategies and KPIs, and conduct monthly check-in calls to ensure progress.
Oversee development and maintenance of online tools for servicing partners and tracking partner-generated sales: dashboard, resource depot, payment portal, and product delivery mechanism.
Work with product owners to grow sales overseas via the partner channel and sales team.
Work with marketing to advertise in overseas markets and develop partner sales materials.
Oversees regional budget and flags deviations that may impact operational costs.
Represent SHRM at conferences, partner events and strategic business meetings
Annual Conference Delegation Program
Oversee delegation program to ensure revenue and registration goals are met
Work with marketing and sales team to sell program and drive sales
Drive delegation sales through the partner network and existing business relationships
Identify operational inefficiencies and oversee development and implementation of solutions
Education & Experience Requirements
Education
- College degree or equivalent relevant work experience or training
Experience
At least 8 years of progressively complex professional experience in business development and sales within a professional association or education setting
International experience is highly preferred
Experience with International HR issues

Demonstrated relationship management skills
Excellent oral and written communication in a cross-cultural environment
Highly motivated and goal-oriented
Process-driven with excellent project management skills
Understanding of basic legal and financial reporting
Proficiency in MS Office
